Are the stats for the state of RI or for all areas included in MLS?
It is interesting that the median prices of condos and single family houses are relatively close. I would have expected a bigger difference.

Isaac,
These figures reflect all sales that have gone through the Rhode Island MLS and includes all of Rhode Island, parts of nearby Mass. and Connecticut. Dont be too worried by the low median prices, this is indicative of purchases by first-time buyers, who accounted for four out of 10 home purchases last year, and were a major driving force of the year’s housing-market. First-time buyers also help homes sales by providing existing homeowners the capital to buy new homes.
