The courage of NAR to hold it there was equally matched by the heart-warming reception we received from all the taxi drivers, waitstaff, shopkeepers, and the realtors from New Orleans. They were truly greatful to have all of us there. We would like to encourage everyone to visit, and to contribute in whatever way to help rebuild New Orleans. Realtors are a special breed and will always rise to the occasion. I believe the NAR has been a great inspiration to everyone, and I have heard that because of the success of our Convention, several other organizations have booked conventions in New Orleans. New Orleans is a great place, wonderful music, food,incredible architecture, and lovely, charming, kind people. New Orleans is a great destination. I will return.
